Q. Do you offer Cash on Delivery facility on Custom Tailored pieces?
A. No, we don’t offer COD facility to custom tailored pieces. Incase of postpaid orders there is an inherent risk of refusal to accept the order at the time of delivery. Made-to-Measure are made for specific body types and therefore can’t be used elsewhere.
Q. Can I get the pieces altered should the measurements shared by me not fit me the way I wanted it to?
A. Yes, every Purple Panchi outfit comes with a 6 month alteration service at no extra charge. However, we would undertake only those changes which are possible in the scope of the garment (eg – increase or decrease bust, waist, hip measurement). Length alterations can only be catered to the extent of margin available in the garment.
Q. Can I return or exchange my made to measure piece after I have received it?
A. We don’t accept returns or exchanges on made to measure pieces. Since these pieces are made to fit very specific body types we have no way of allocating them elsewhere.
Q. Do I pay extra for Made to Measure?
A. No, we don’t charge extra for Custom Sizing. It is our earnest endeavor to ensure that every garment fit exactly as the user intended it to. To that extent Made-to-Measure is a mere step in that direction.
Q. Will it more time to make a custom-tailored outfit?
A. Since we follow a Made to Order policy, we only start making the outfit once you place an order. If the measurements are shared at the time of placing your order we would NOT take additional time to make your piece. However, this does not apply to Plus sizes (3XL and above) as the piece may entail more work.
Q. Are your measurements body or ready measurements?
A. All our measurement standard sizing or custom sizing are ready measurements, i.e actual measurement of the garment. Most of our garments come with a cotton lining inside, therefore we recommend that you either go for a higher size (incase of standard XS-3XL sizes) or add an inch on both sides while submitting your measurements to us.
Q. Do you charge extra for Plus sizes?
A. As part of our fair pricing policy we don’t charge extra for plus sized garments (3XL and above). Delivery timelines might differ in such cases as the garment might involve additional printing or embroidery work.
Q. Does Custom Tailoring also involve change in design, print and silhouettes?
A. No, Custom Tailoring only includes tailored measurements. All other elements including design, color, print, silhouette are not covered under this service.
Q. Can I get changes made in design, color, print, silhouette of your designs?
A. At this point we don’t take design customizations as we have no way of knowing how the design will come out. All our designs undergo extensive sampling to arrive at the final design. By altering the process of making a design without adequate sampling we cannot guarantee the final outcome of the design.
Q. I have already placed my order for a standard size (XS-3XL). Can I now Custom Tailor the garment in my measurements?
A. Each garment follows a different production cycle and goes through multiple stages before we ship the final piece. Some pieces are cut keeping in mind the garment length and prints are placed accordingly.
From the time of order placing to now, if we have made irreversible changes to the garment length then we will not be able to accept your custom sizing request. Q. How do I place an order with multiple outfits in different measurements?
A. You simply go to each garment and fill your customized measurements separately. Your order confirmation mail will contain each garment with its respective measurement.
